REVIEWS PRODUCT

The first thing that was noticed about BPI’s 1mr is the fact that I was able to have sustained energy that lasted throughout my workout and slowly wore off with no abrupt cliff-like energy drop. This particular product actually had a decent taste when mixed with a sufficient amount of water and when taken on an empty stomach the effects can be felt within thirty or so minutes. Honestly, 1mr is similar to many other pre-workouts I have tried with the exception being that it doesn’t give you the jitters and it gives you great focus. If you’re looking for a pre-workout to help get you through an intense workout or a hard cardio session, this would be the product for you. Recently we had the opportunity to try Pro GF from CNP Professional, a company that has now rebranded after Dorian Yates, who was the the “Face” on the company, chose to pursue building his gym franchise and needed to pull out of partnership with CNP, but that definitely hasn’t changed the quality of their product. Pro GF is a Pre-Workout/Protein mixture which also contains Glutamine, Creatine Monohydrate, L-Glycine, L-Taurine, B Vitamins, and L-Arginine. I know, it comes off as one of those “one stop shop” products that we have all seen and tried with little to no results, but that is where Pro GF stood out from the crowd because it produced the results that one would expect from a product with a feature list that long. In our time with Pro GF we treated it as a Pre-Workout before our morning training and it provided the energy needed to get going and sustain a workout at a decent intensity level. We saw that after about 3-4 weeks of using Pro GF that we had started gaining weight, which was unexpected but welcome, while keeping our BF levels at our maintenance percentage. Now, obviously much of this is probably water weight that will disperse once the Creatine is removed from our routine, but we won’t deny that our lift went up and it wouldn’t be surprising if we managed to gain some lean muscle mass while taking Pro GF. The results are there for Pro GF, but to get the results you’ll have to brave the scent and taste that come alone with taking this product. We have tried a lot of Pre Workouts and most are not very appealing flavor wise, but Pro GF just had a very artificial taste and smell to it.

We have tried a lot of Pre Workouts and most are not very appealing flavor wise, Full disclosure- I had never heard of this product before having it sent to me by the great people over at MGN. They gave me a sample packet of their Pure Isolates in each flavor. Each time I tried one the flavor was better than the last! The cake batter mixed in a smoothie with a banana post-workout is the meal I would like if I'm ever on death row. Simply amazing, especially for an isolate. The nutritional profile is the best I've seen too. Basically carb-free, 25 protein, and just over 100 calories. This will be the next protein I order, no doubt!
I was pleasantly surprised, yet was left wanting more by this product. As a blended protein I was scepticle of how the price could be so reasonable, yet still have a multistage protein complex. quickly realized it is due to the first ingredient listed as Soy. I know it makes it much less expensive to produce. Although I like saving money, I don't want the first ingredient listed to be Soy Protein. The Rocky Road flavor was a nice change. I had only tried Rocky Road in Optimum Nutrition's Protein previously. I would give the taste a solid 7 out of 10. It mixed fairly well, the only complaint that I have is that there was a little bit of grittiness to it. It is the first time I have really experienced that with a blended protein. Cytosport Muscle Milk Review Mixed really well. One shake from just a water bottle mixed it. The taste is pretty good and could improve with almond milk. My only complaint is that the Protein content per scoop was 16g so double your scoops. It will run out quicker than most brands and contains a little higher sugar too.

Only protein

For the ultimate health conscious consumer, this is the ultimate protein! Only protein is an all natural, hormone and antibiotic free whey protein. The whey comes from are grass-fed New Zealand cattle. It is even certified organic, which is very rare with supplement products. There is also no artificial sweeteners in it. In my opinion you give up a small amount in taste with this product, but you know EXACTLY what you are putting in your body. Each serving contains 18 grams/ protein, 4 grams/ carbs, and just over 100 calories. It is a very good balance. I usually have one scoop preworkout, and two post. It also is not only whey protein but also is made of Casein, which helps feeds your muscles for much longer. The coolest and most innovative thing about this product is in the packaging. This is the only protein I know of that comes in individual serving sticks. They are small, convenient and easy to carry. All you have to do is rip the top off, mix with a bottle of water, and you have meal. They would make a great thing to take with you on long road trips, outdoor activities, or anything outdoors where you won't have access to food.
